Located in Loomis, California, we are an aquatic plant and pond nursery open to the general public and offering a wide selection of water flowers, freshwater aquatic plants and floating plants for ponds. We’re here to help you create a great looking aquatic garden in your own yard!
We offer personal service and knowledgeable help for all your questions about water plants. We can help you find the correct filtration plants to keep your pond clean and beautiful all year long. We are one of the only aquatic nurseries offering extensive numbers of pond plants for sale in Northern California.

About Sue Golden, Principal
After earning her Bachelors of Science degree in Ornamental Horticulture with an emphasis in Landscape Design, Sue began her journey to nursery entrepreneurship at Fowler Nursery, where she gained an initial skillset in applied nursery management and operations. Following her early beginnings, Sue branched out individually, developing and curating her own design styles, plant selections, and custom creations for a growing base of residential and business clients.
In response to an increasing demand for her customized aquatic features, gardens, and pondscape designs, Sue created Golden Pond Water Plants, a nursery distinct from others, where creative inspiration flows through a “botanical garden”, filled with aquatic plants, displays and features, and floating islands, all of which are acclimatized to local growing conditions.
Sue has been a featured speaker at national trade conferences, garden and koi clubs, and on national and local radio programs.
